I AOUNDM INSTALLING A SHOWE CONTROL VALVE P188720. THE ROUND BLACK PLASTIC PLATE BEHIND THE TRIM PLATE IS IT INSTALLED ALSO OR CAN IT BE ELIMINATED

Hi Don, Thank you for your question. In most cases the plaster guard will be removed. Per the instruction manual: Remove plasterguard (1) from valve body. Note: plasterguard may be left in place for some mounting conditions. In this case, break the cover piece off of the plasterguard for access to the stem.
Thanks,
Dave

Is there a shorter handle available for the Peerless P188103LFSS?

The handle is to long and hit the shelf and won't let the water come on all the way. I don't want to turn the faucet.
Hi Dennis, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer a shorter handle that works with the model P188103LF-SS.
Thanks,
Dave

two stems

need two stems for faucet model # P99675BN, shows its been discontinued. Please advise?

Thanks!
Hi Don, Thank you for your question. Although the model P99675-BN is discontinued the stem assemblies are still available to order. The part number is RP1740. If you are replacing the stem assemblies you will also want to change out the RP4993 seats and springs that are located directly under the stem assembly in the valve body.
Thanks,
Dave

Stem unit replacement for Peerless P99685-BN ?

I believe I have a Peerless P99685-BN faucet that is leaking from the spout. The stem units in the current faucet look to be color coded blue and red for cold and hot respectively. I purchased replacement for a Glacier faucet @ home depot that looked similar but leaked upon installation from around the bonnet nut and washer. The manual indicates I need part RP41701 but these do not look to be color coded. Am I to assume that the stop on the top of the stem assy. just needs to be reversed? Is there another faucet that has the color coded stem assemblies that I am not seeing?

The attached picture is the original cold water (right) stem unit.

Please advise.

Thanks, Doug
Hi Doug, Thank you for your question. The RP41701 is the correct replacement stem assembly kit for the model P99685-BN faucet. You may want to verify the faucet manufacturer due to the fact that Peerless never offered color coded stem assemblies.
Thanks,
Dave

Is it possible to purchase just the white plastic hose-end assembly with clip that attaches to the faucet assembly?

Model # P188103LF-SD
User submitted photo
Hi Mark, Thank you for your question. The block and o-rings that go on the stud coming down from the faucet are available separately as RP60121. The white hose end connector is part of the hose assembly and is not available as a separate item. The entire RP63202SS assembly would have to be ordered.
Thanks,
Dave

Matching soap dispenser for added convenience 2-function, pull-down sprayer for easy pot filling and clean-up around the sink Sleek, integrated handle design 2 or 4-hole sink applications using optional escutcheon

How do you disconnect the quick conection for the pull down sparyer?

Hi Dale, Thank you for your question. To remove the pull down hose on your model P188103LF-SD you will need to press in on the textured portion on the tabs on 2 sides of the white block connector. Once you have applied pressure, push up slightly and then pull the hose down off the fittting.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Mark, Thank you for your question. The model P99355-SS faucet uses the RP42096 Stem assembly kit. This kit contains the stem assemblies, seats, springs, and bonnet nuts for the faucet. The RP42096 can be ordered online or from your local retailer or wholesaler that sells Peeless/Delta products.

Is there a screw that screws into the ball assembly?
Hi Alvin, Thank you for your question. There is a set screw underneath the red/blue button of the front of the handle that holds the handle to the ball assembly. A 1/8" allen wrench can be used to tighten the screw.
Thanks,
Dave
